TORRES BAHRAIAN WORLD TRAIN CENTER - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MEGACONSTRUCCIONESBahrain World Trade Center, es el primer rascacielos con aerogenerador eólicos.
Diseñado por el equipo WS Atkins & Partners, el edificio cuenta con una altura de 240 metros y 53 plantas. Está compuesto por dos torres gemelas unidas mediante tres "puentes" que sustentan las tres turbinas eólicas dle edificio. El sistema proporcionará entre 1.100 y 1.300 MW anuales, que representa aproximadamente un 15% de la demanda energética del edificio.
El documental de National Geographic Channel se muestra el proceso de montaje de las turbinas en el Bahrain world Trade Center.
